MEMBERSHIP

ELIGIBILITY

Any Motorola Retiree residing in the USA who possesses a bonafide Motorola retiree I.D. card or badge, or a Motorola/Freescale retiree health benefits ID/eligibility card, shall be eligible for active regular membership in the RBPA upon formal application, and payment of membership dues and assessments.

In addition, AFFILIATE MEMBERSHIP may be available to a Motorola retiree's dependent, who is not also a Motorola retiree, if the Motorola retiree is deceased. To be eligible for membership, the surviving dependent would have to retain the right to Motorola retiree benefits. Such an affiliate member will have all rights of a regular member except the right to hold office in the Association.

MEMBERSHIP FEES

The initial fee for membership in the RBPA is $125.00, of which $25.00 is a one-time payment of membership dues, and the remainder is a required contribution toward legal services and other operational expenses of the Association. Contributions in excess of $125.00 are greatly appreciated!

If each of two married or domestic partners is a Motorola retiree, and each desires an individual RBPA membership, then each party should prepare and submit a separate membership application.

Please note that all funds raised by the RBPA will be applied toward legal fees and other operating expenses (such as telephone and mailing). Association officers and other volunteers are not compensated for their time.
